About the designer

Vera followed her personal chaos and founded the jewelry label SILVERELEPHANT in spring 2020.

How else but with a BIG BANG - made from her passion for design, her degree in interior design and her fascination with her mother-in-law's huge, sparkling collection of gemstones, meteorites and silver pieces. She passed on her knowledge of the materials, her experience from over 50 years of jewelry making and her craftsmanship to Vera, who then, after 10 years, shot her secure office job into space and founded SILVERELEPHANT.

Vera's story, which so authentically represents trust in one's own chaos and the universe, is her homage to it in the form of jewelry, the CHAOS OF THE UNIVERSE COLLECTION.

The collection tells these stories, celebrating the uniqueness, the beauty, and the chaos of our lives.
With everything that belongs to us and defines us.

With the small grains of sand that may one day become pearls. And with all the elements and stories, old and new, that make us who we are - and here and there with a big bang.

Our chaos is our beauty - and SILVERELEPHANT believes in this chaos.

“We all need chaos to keep moving forward” is the experience that Vera wants to share with her customers. Because without the chaos that we sometimes have to go through, we would not be able to reinvent ourselves.

SILVERELEPHANT lets the wearers of the handmade necklaces, bracelets and earrings shine in their own way and reminds them to celebrate their own chaos of individuality, uniqueness and authenticity.

SILVERELEPHANT plays with contrasting materials such as vintage corals, pearls, real meteorites and simple link chains and loves the small differences that arise in each handmade piece and make it unique.

SILVERELEPHANT believes in creativity that recognizes beauty in chaos and in the inherent power of every design.
